Nice cabins with more space in the cabin than a lot of fishing camps and resorts I have stayed at in the past. Great location and owners treated us great. Definitely will be back to Viking again soon!
My son learned about Viking Lodge and the Cranberry Lakes by following pro fisherman, Jay Siemens. I also started following and watching his videos before I decided Viking Lodge would be the next fishing adventure we'd try as a family. To start with, we were very pleased with our stay! Paul and his family are awesome hosts. Accommodations, service, staff, prices and the fishing were excellent! Quality of the fishery is top notch. We fish some amazing walleye lakes where we're from, but the Cranberry Lakes are next level. Many fly in lodges don't stack up to the overall quality and beauty of this fishery ! Thanks Paul and family for making our stay an awesome one ! We'll be booking again soon !
This is a great place to fish. Walleye, lake trout and Northern pike are all in abundance. Viking lodge is a great atmosphere, clean, organized and well serviced business. I highly recommend the trip to Viking lodge.
Viking Lodge is a top notch resort with excellent amenities. Their guide Mac Mulligan is a world class fishing guide who works hard to get his clients on fish. I love new adventures and I don’t return to the same place often, but this place will be an exception. I will be back at my next opportunity!
Absolutely fantastic stay at Viking Lodge! The location is perfect for fishing enthusiasts, with prime access to some of the best spots around. The facilities are top-notch, including a convenient boat launch, a well-equipped fish processing shack, and docks with power. We also enjoyed the best pizza ever right on-site. The large, groomed green space was a huge bonus for yard games with friends. Highly recommend this lodge for a memorable fishing trip!
Our family had an incredible 3 days at Viking Lodge. Great people, wonderful guide, and amazing location (and pretty awesome fishing!). We look forward to coming back for ice fishing or again next summer.
Highly recommended lodge for fishing trips (Large or Small groups) or a place to have a quiet holiday with an amazing view and cozy lodge/cabins to stay in. Mack Muligan is an expert level fishing guide here and provides a fishing experience like no other. Friendly & helpful staff / owners of the facilities. If you are planning a lodge fishing trip I would recommend booking here.
Our fishing group of 8 had the pleasure of staying at Viking for some multi species angling, pike, lake trout, rainbow trout, perch, walleye and burbot. The cabins were warm and spacious, the staff at Viking were very accommodating and Mac always exceeds expectations! We were able to land multiple masters in a variety of species. If you’re looking for great fishing and great place to stay this is the place.
